RE: UNIX Conversion

The staff of MWCIA have been working diligently over the past 18 months to prepare for the conversion of all of its major databases to operate on a UNIX platform. This conversion will produce an immediate increase in efficiency and long-term cost savings.

The conversion is scheduled to take place during the first part of June 1996. MWCIA staff have spend hundreds of hours planning for the conversion. However, because of its magnitude, it is possible that we may experience some interruption of services. We ask for your patience and understanding over the next few weeks as the conversion takes place.
