RE: Minnesota Contractors Premium Adjustment Program - MCPAP

The applications for the 1997 Minnesota Contractors Premium Adjustment Program were mailed this week to all Minnesota employers who had a construction classification code reported on their current policy. Attached is a copy of the application.

The local underwriting offices of the insurance carriers will be provided with a list of all employers to which an application has been mailed. This list contains all employers with a contracting code in our database. We cannot guarantee that it is 100% accurate.

The following is our proposed schedule for implementation of the 1997 MCPAP applications:

September 1, 1996	Enrollment deadline
September 15, 1996	Start date for calculating MCPAP credits
January 1, 1997	Commencement of use of 1997 MCPAP credits on new and renewal policies
