RE: Minnesota Exception Rule IVB2c

The Minnesota Department of Commerce has approved to be effective for new and renewal policies on or after May 1, 1997, the amending of the Basic Manual to adjust for formatting changes.

When the National Council created the formatting for the new Basic Manual, they rearranged some of the rules and relocated them under different sections of the manual. It has just come to our attention that when they rearranged the corresponding sections of the Minnesota Exception pages, this portion of Rule IVB2c became an unnecessary reference. To correct any confusion this section of the rule may create, Rule IVB2c will be deleted from Minnesota Exception page 18 of the Basic Manual. The portion of Rule IVB2c pertaining to the determination of the contract price which may be assigned to the drivers, etc. has be relocated under Rule IXC3c on Minnesota Exception page 22 of the Basic Manual.
