RESPECTED INDUSTRY INNOVATOR

Internet

We continue to experience an increase in the number of messages mailed and received through our website at www.mwcia.org from membership, agents, employers, state representatives and others interested in our organization.

As the insurance industry and the business world increase their knowledge of the information superhighway, our staff will continue to review and improve our customers' use of this relatively new method of communication.

We are also excited to introduce our new and improved website scheduled for completion in 1999. Visit us anytime at www.mwcia.org!

Keyfile

As a paperless organization, we enter information into our database and maintain it in an optical rather than a hard copy format. This summer, we upgraded our optical storage system to improve its performance and provide staff with additional capabilities for accessing data.

ACCCT

MWCIA remained active in the ACCCT Ventures Project throughout 1998 by participating in the development of requirement specifications and prototyping models in anticipation of our migration to a new and greatly enhanced operational system. Implementation of the new system in 1999 will not only increase our productivity, but improve our ability to serve our members and public
