Demand for services
(experience modification calls, classification
calls, MCPAP calls, modification worksheet
requests, etc.) continued into 1996 at a high
level. Movement of accounts into the Assigned
Risk Plan increased slightly over the last year,
while premium volume decreased. The number of
risks in the Plan, however, remained fairly
stable. (See Assigned Risk Plan below.) Test
audit services and classification surveys
continue to be in demand by companies, agents and
employers. Services provided include:
The Underwriting staff interfaces with the
public more than any other Association
department, handling the majority of employer,
agent and carrier representative requests.
Underwriting is also responsible for conducting
classification surveys and test audits.
